Announcing Restaurant Reboot Program

Northwest Wine & Food Society is thrilled to announce our latest grant program. Restaurant Reboot! We’re awarding $2,000 grants to small businesses with big community impact.

The economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected all businesses, but restaurants have been hit extra hard. We’re here to help! We created the Restaurant Reboot Program to honor, aide and preserve local restaurants, bakeries, breweries, bars, wineries, ice cream parlors and coffee shops as they adapt their businesses to meet the challenges presented by Covid-19 and the global economic slowdown.

In the past NW&FS has focused our efforts on scholarships, grants and endowments in support for educational opportunities in the fermentation sciences, viticulture, hospitality and culinary arts programs in the Pacific Northwest. However, as the pandemic and subsequent economic situations remain unpredictable, NW&FS wanted to act immediately to ensure that the positions for which our students are preparing survive these trying times.

The Restaurant Reboot Program began as a grant of $10,000 and was to be distributed into five $2000 allotments. NW&FS has since raised an additional $5000 toward additional grants. Help us support our local communities by donating today! Tax deductible donations to the Restaurant Reboot Program can be made at NW&FS.
